Evergreen is composed of a sequence of panels inspired by the steady, industrious rhythm of the early printing presses once housed in this building. The Printworks’ vast machines connected a broader audience than ever before. The repeating patterns and rhythmic shifts within the
site-specific artwork are designed to offer a sense of physical and mental relief from the demands of the working day by introducing an experience that mimics natural phenomena into the urban landscape, connecting all who move around it.
Commissioned by Hive Curates in partnership with Landsec for the Print Building reception. Comprised of perforated metal fins.
