Light Up Kilburn Returns in 2026
After a dazzling debut in 2024, Light Up Kilburn is set to return for its second edition on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 February 2026, in collaboration with Love Camden. This year, the festival will once again transform Kilburn Grange Park into a radiant celebration of creativity, community, and connection.

A Festival That Brings Kilburn to Life
During two of the darkest nights of winter, Light Up Kilburn 2026 will illuminate the park with a captivating light trail, immersive soundscapes, and inspiring artworks created by local and commissioned artists. Visitors can expect a multi-sensory experience that celebrates the biodiversity of Kilburn Grange Park and invites reflection on our relationship with nature.
This edition also shines a light on an important theme — women’s safety at night — encouraging conversations about creating safer and more inclusive public spaces. Through the shared experience of light and sound, the park will become a unifying space for the local community, where everyone is invited to gather, connect, and celebrate.

Building on a Legacy of Light
The first Light Up Kilburn in February 2024 lit up buildings across the High Street and Kilburn Grange Park with stunning illuminations and community-led artworks. The project brought together schools, local artists, community groups, and businesses, creating a moment of pride and cohesion that left a lasting legacy in the area.
Now, the 2026 edition promises to build on that success, expanding the artistic programme and deepening its impact — transforming Kilburn once again into a vibrant hub of light, creativity, and togetherness.
