Local artists connecting arts and poetry.

For "Enjoy Enfield Summer" festival in August 2020 Artist Hive Studios commissioned local artist King Owusu to create an art mural connecting visual arts with poetry. Titled 'A Place We Call Home', the mural was supposed to be temporary, but the community have been taking care of its upkeep and we’re pleased to see it still in pristine condition today. Pop down to the White Horse Pub on Fore Street to see it for yourself!

For this artwork, local creative King Owusu drew inspiration from the world around him; absorbing references from his family, friends, school and city. King’s illustration was reflective of his perception of the world, deconstructing and rebuilding the world from his own perspective.

"The world is so different now,
I only hope we see more”
